Tweedehandse Bruidjie (Pty) Ltd (“the Company”) operates an online marketplace enabling users to buy and sell new or pre-owned wedding-related items. By accessing or using the Platform, users agree to these Terms & Conditions.

1. GENERAL TERMS

The Platform is owned and managed by Tweedehandse Bruidjie (Pty) Ltd (Reg. No. 2021/657409/07). Users must be 18 years or older to register. The Company acts solely as an intermediary and does not own or sell listed items. Use of the Platform signifies acceptance of all terms, policies, and future amendments.

2. USER ACCOUNTS

Each user may create one account and is responsible for keeping login details secure. Accounts may be suspended or terminated if misused, used for fraudulent activity, or if users attempt to bypass Platform systems or fees.

3. BUYER TERMS

Buyers must ensure all information is accurate before purchasing. Payments must be made through the authorised payment gateway only. Refunds are only granted if an item differs materially from its description or is damaged upon arrival.

4. SELLER TERMS

Sellers must provide truthful listings with clear descriptions and photographs. All sales are private agreements between the Buyer and Seller. Sellers must ship items within the required timeframe and are responsible for packaging and courier compliance. Fraudulent or misleading activity may result in permanent account suspension.

5. PAYMENTS & FEES

All transactions occur in South African Rand (ZAR). A Buyer Protection Fee applies to each order, while Sellers receive 93.5% of the item value after commission deductions. All fees are non-refundable unless otherwise stated.

6. REFUNDS, RETURNS & DISPUTES

Refunds and returns are limited to cases where items are misrepresented or defective. All issues must be reported within forty-eight (48) hours of delivery. Tweedehandse Bruidjie Marketplace may assist in dispute resolution at its discretion, and its decisions are final.

7. OFF-PLATFORM TRANSACTIONS

Any transaction, payment, or agreement conducted outside the Platform is strictly prohibited. Users engaging in off-platform dealings forfeit all Buyer Protection and refund rights.

8. PROHIBITED ITEMS

Illegal, unsafe, counterfeit, or restricted goods may not be listed or sold. The Company reserves the right to remove listings or terminate accounts violating this policy.

9. PRIVACY & DATA PROTECTION

The Company complies with the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA). Personal data is collected and processed only for legitimate operational purposes and in line with the Privacy Policy available on the Platform.

10. LIABILITY & INDEMNITY

Tweedehandse Bruidjie Marketplace provides services “as is” and accepts no liability for user actions, courier issues, or product defects. Users agree to indemnify the Company against any claims arising from misuse or breach of these Terms.

11. AMENDMENTS & CONTACT
