Tweedehandse Bruidjie began as a Facebook group where brides could connect with wedding sellers to find and share pre-loved wedding items, especially dresses and décor. As the community grew, it became clear that brides needed not just variety, but also a safer and more reliable way to buy and sell. That’s why we created a dedicated platform designed to protect payments, verify listings, and support both buyers and sellers every step of the way. Our mission is to make weddings more affordable and sustainable by giving beautiful items a second life, while ensuring that every bride can shop with confidence and every wedding seller can trade with ease.

How do I sell an item?
Create an account, upload clear photos, write a detailed description, and set your price.
What are your fees?
Listing your items are completely FREE of charge. Upon a successful sale, we charge a 6.5% service fee payable by the Seller, and a fixed Buyer’s Protection fee of R21 payable by the Buyer.
How is my payment processed?
Payments are securely processed and only released to the seller once the buyer confirms delivery.
Are buyers protected?
Yes. Funds are only released once the buyer confirms the item was received as described.
Can I return an item?
Returns are only accepted if the item received is not as described. Please read listings carefully.
